I'm Allison Starkweather, your
friendly neighborhood core member, although I'm still very much a
novice when it comes to any kind of technical work, so my
responsibilities run closer to those of a moderator than an admin. I
keep an eye on the General Fiction and NaNoWriMo boards, and can be
found in chat almost 24/7, under various login names, usually some
manipulation of allikat or allikitten.
I've been writing for around six years, and am currently finishing up
the first draft of my ninth novel, although I've yet to have any of
them published. I've always written in the fantasy genre, and through
the years have narrowed my focus to fantasy romance. I've explored many
facets within that genre, from a traditional fantasy setting to the
contemporary setting of my last novel, Copper Kiss.
I'm currently a sophomore at the University of California, Irvine,
where I'm majoring in Classics, with the intention to ultimately teach
Latin.
